The Obstetrics & Gynecology & Women’s Health Services Department has been providing high quality care to women for four decades. Our experienced doctors offer expertise in a wide array of specialties. Many are also researchers and all are faculty members of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, helping our patients benefit from advancements in women’s healthcare as they evolve.
This commitment to both the depth and breadth of women’s services allows our patients to meet all of their healthcare needs at Montefiore. With multiple locations in the Bronx and Westchester County, our offices offer convenient, high quality care.
The strength of Montefiore’s compassionate approach to women’s healthcare lies in the exceptional knowledge of our doctors and the keen sensitivity with which they provide a broad range of services, from basic women’s healthcare to complex treatments. Our associates are committed to offering conscientious care to women of all ages, from a teenage girl getting her first pelvic exam to a first-time mother to a woman in mid-life experiencing her first symptoms of menopause.
We support our patients with family planning, with having a baby and through the varied experiences of aging. In every situation, we help them feel informed and empowered to make the best healthcare choices for their individual well-being.
We also offer women comprehensive care, drawing on the outstanding leadership found in multiple departments at Montefiore Medical Center.
When a patient requires treatment for a condition outside the expertise of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, we partner with our equally talented peers in other fields. That could mean referring a patient to a doctor in Cardiology, Surgery or another department, or teaming up with experts in Oncology to help a young woman with cancer be able to have children.
Our proven commitment to healthy women and babies, and our zeal for ensuring that the fields of obstetrics and gynecology continue to grow and advance, make us the right choice for complete women’s healthcare.
