Our orthopaedic surgeons are the full-time teaching faculty of the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center. This residency program has been one of the largest and best training programs in the nation for over 50 years. Our residents are graduate physicians from the finest medicals schools in the US. At sometime during your care you may have the opportunity to meet one of our young surgeons who are assisting the faculty in helping you return to full health and function. All of these doctors are here to help you and our attending surgeons give you the best possible orthopaedic care as they progress through their specialty training in orthopaedic surgery. At all times they are under the guidance and supervision of the faculty.
The residency program has produced over 500 Orthopaedic surgeons and at the current time has 30 young surgeons participating in the program. Our residents spend time at our two-inpatient sites at the Moses and Weiler Divisions of Montefiore Medical Center as well as at our Level I trauma center at Jacobi Hospital.
